This "back to basics" space offers simple and sturdy furnishings. The apartment has it's own private entrance, fully stocked kitchen (with pots/pans/dishes), designated parking space and access to laundry facilities just on the other side of the door - no change of level required.
The bedroom features a comfy double bed, dresser and closet for storage of your belongings and a blackout shade (especially helpful for the shift workers).
Compact yet efficient, the living room offers a pull out sofa bed (sleeps two persons), desk/work space and a flat screen TV for your evening entertainment. Unlimited internet with android box in place for staying current with your favourite shows during your stay.

POTENTIAL FOR NOISE - this is a lower unit in a two unit home. Although we make every effort to ensure our guests are notified if the unit above/below them will be occupied... guest group sizes vary and some guests are louder than others.
Note: This is not a sound proof space as we do welcome children and pets in these co-located listings.
The entire apartment is yours to enjoy for the duration of your stay. The central city location provides quick and easy proximity to hospital, restaurants, and shopping plazas.
The outdoor space and laundry facilities are shared with guests of the upper unit.
Designated parking for lower unit provided in the driveway. (1 space)
We respect the privacy of our guests. We live only a few minutes away and are available by phone or text should anything arise or you require assistance.
We are nestled on the corner of a quiet street just off Sarnia's easy to find London Rd. Everything in town is only a 5-10 min car ride so you can easily participate in an event, take in a hockey game at one of our local arenas, catch a live performance at the theater, join a class/seminar at the college, or enjoy some "ship spotting" under the Bluewater Bridge.
Helpful Hint - while under the Bridge, be sure to get some world famous fries or chillaxe with an ice cream.
The options are endless...
If you prefer to walk on your adventure, only a couple blocks away you will find a variety store or the hospital, a short 15 min walk in the other direction, you will find Northgate Plaza. This plaza offers a drug store (Shoppers), restaurants/bars, pizza places, shopping and banks.
There is a bus stop located at the end of the street and many local taxi companies, if you don't drive. Sarnia is located approx. 1 hour from Detroit and about two and a half hours from Toronto. Sarnia does have an airport and a train station - be sure to check with them directly for service times and availability.
The bathroom features a stand up shower - Please be advised, there is not a full bathtub in this space.
There are 5 stairs to access the basement apartment. The stairs are covered and enclosed for your safety.
This home has an updated furnace and central air to keep you comfortable, no matter the time of year. And let's face it, basements stay especially nice and cool during those summer heatwaves.

Forty-seven percent (47.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
